This hands-on one-day course is designed for busy professionals to help you write better marketing copy. Run by MA Professional Writing at University College Falmouth, in conjunction with HERDA’s Higher Skills Creative Industries Project, the course has been created with solo practitioners, small and medium business, and business support organisations in mind.
To write an effective report or proposal, you need to know how to organise your writing so that it communicates information and ideas with maximum clarity and impact.
This can make the difference between a workforce that’s informed and motivated and one that’s confused and cynical; between a potential client or investor who’s brought on board and one who’s distinctly underwhelmed.
On this course, your tutor will introduce the key skills needed to write more powerful and readable reports and proposals, Through a series of creative yet practical exercises, you’ll find out how to assess your audience and address its needs, how to develop a document structure, and how to make your writing clearer and more compelling, in short, you’ll learn how to write reports and proposals that achieve their goals.
What you will need to bring: an example of a current company report or proposal.
