A sense of place

Blossom_500Cornish World is looking for new writers to contribute to every edition. The magazine is reserving its final page for a piece of creative writing that sums up a location in Cornwall.

The last page of Cornish World is now entitled 'A Sense of Place', and aims to capture a sense of what it is like to be in that location; the sounds, smells, feelings it evokes, and so on. Any type of writing and any place in Cornwall goes – from regular tourist beauty spots to those more unusual locations that have a special meaning for you.

Can you sum up a spot in around 250 words or so?

Email your contribution to Deputy Editor Megan Westley at
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it – with a photo of the place.

There is no prize or payment for submissions, but you will get a whole page to yourself in a lovely magazine!
